Hi {Name},
You should start seeing some traffic from Google
now - if you followed the advice in my report.
You should also start getting some shares
if you followed the advice I gave you about
incentivizing social shares.
However, it's my guess that you are not seeing
much success with collecting emails...yet.
You may have even followed my advice and
used the state-of-the-art foolproof email nabbing
tool that I recommended in my last email.
So, why are you having trouble?
Let's put ourselves in the shoes of Joe Q. Public
and pretend for example that your website is
about building a better mousetrap.
Here are three examples of what might happen
when Joe Q. Public...
(who is interested in better mousetraps)
clicks on a link that says
"5 ways to build a better mousetrap".
1. He clicks on the link in Google, and is happy
to find the 5 fresh ideas you offer on that page.
2. He clicks on the link in Facebook and also
enjoys your webpage about mousetraps.
3. He clicks on a link that asks for his email
BEFORE you give him any advice on mouse
traps - so he clicks the back button and
never comes back to your web page
again!
The first two examples helped you earn the
trust of Joe Q. Public but, they didn't really
do much for you because he probably will
forget about your awesome website and
have trouble finding it again - if he doesn't
find you on Google or see your link shared
by a friend on Facebook, again.
The third example just pissed JQP off and
thus he is likely to remember your website
link - but for all the wrong reasons.
===============================
Let's try a different (and better) scenario
Let's imagine the link Joe Q. Public found
took him to a page that listed five great
ideas and earned his trust.
Let's also imagine that on that page you
also have a link that offers ANOTHER 5
great ideas.
This second link could ask Joe Q. Public
for his email address before delivering the
solutions...
...and it would likely be successful because
you have already earned Joe Q. Publics trust
by providing the first 5 great solutions!
This begs the question, "How best do
you make the second offer?"
Many people fail, because they try
the old-school method of making a
clickable image in the sidebar to
promote this second offer.
Joe Q. Public probably won't click
on this link because this link looks like an
advertisement - which experience has
taught him - might take him to a different
and un-trusted website.
Joe Q. Public doesn't want to follow an ad
link elsewhere when it's YOU that he is
beginning to trust about all things
to do with mousetraps!
This is why you need to create a link that
appears to be more integrated with your
trusted website.
This link should also have the same look
and feel as other trusted websites like the
NYTimes, The Huffington Post, Wikipedia,
and etc.
If you haven't already noticed - these
big-name trusted websites have been
using something called "Attention Bars"
lately - to showcase the links that they
want the public to notice, instead of
advertisement style links.
==============================
Unfortunately, publishers like you and I,
that would like start utilizing this
advantageous Attention Bar strategy,
have had trouble finding plug-ins for our
WordPress websites that don't slow down
the websites load speeds - and thus negatively
effecting our SEO ranking and visitor
experience.
Thankfully, I have discovered a solution!

why this attention grabbing bar works
